Seriously people? Grow up. When the movie Avatar came out, a lot of people were complaining about how sokka is white.

This whole thing with the korra brown face, I just think people are taking it too serious. Calm down. I don’t see a diference when people who ARE tan want to photoshop/(or put makeup) their faces to be whiter or fix up their photos to look skinner. (oh no, now people who are skinny are going to go on a rant too?) Why don’t white people say something about that?

I agree, there is racism is this world that is disgusting. But someone tanning their skin to look like a character for Cosplay, ISN’T. get a life. I am Mexican. And if I saw a white person wearing a sombrero, fake mustache and got a tan while going to taco bell making jokes about how he cross the boarder, I honestly wouldn’t be offended. I LAUGH my ass off. Because I don’t take things personal. But not everyone thinks like this. And people have the right to be offended. But I just think when you can’t changed something because it’s not in ur power, laugh. Learn to laugh at life.

And how about the women in Japan who want to be black. And go to tanning salons? Are they racist?

but yea, This is taken way too out of control. We are all human beingings and every cosplayer in the world has felt like an out cast or felt alone. Before I knew about cosplay and anime conventions, i thought I was the only one who cosplayed on this planet. Now we have ridiculous rants and posts about people who are tanning and using make-up to look like a character really? I am lost in words on what else to say. it’s so… ridiculous.
